Dr. Anandibai Joshi Memorial Foundation for Women’s Health and Education (AJF) is a federally approved IRS Code 501(c)(3) nonprofit public charitable organization based in Pennsylvania, USA, dedicated to improving women’s wellness through health, education, service, and research. AJF supports initiatives addressing preventive health promotion, stage-of-life health concerns, conditions disproportionately affecting women, and research on sex differences in health and disease.
AJF provides critical funding through education, service, research, and fellowship awards. The foundation supports future physician scientists, medical and biomedical professionals, technologists, and entrepreneurs from diverse backgrounds who demonstrate strong academic achievement and dedication. It also facilitates the presentation and publication of research findings at conferences, seminars, and symposia.
To advance its mission, AJF may accept endowments and philanthropic support from organizations, industries, government or semi-government entities, academic institutions, and nonprofit partners that share a similar vision, or establish new endowments to further women’s health and education initiatives.

Prof. Dr. Suresh G. Joshi, MD, PhD, FIDSA, FSIS — an internationally recognized educator, clinician, and researcher in infection control, infectious diseases, and public health — along with a dedicated team of experts.
AJF intentionally maintains a lean infrastructure to ensure maximum allocation of donations toward education, service, research, and fellowship awards.
