Dr. Anandi Joshi Foundation is a nonprofit, charitable organization, and shall operate exclusively its mission-based charitable purposes within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, or the corresponding section of any future Federal tax code.

The specific purpose of this organization is to:

a. Provide an effective forum for interaction, problem solving and discussion of women’s health and education, helping women and their family by promoting community and public health, general well-being, and elevating women’s socio-cultural status.

b. Provide education, including offering Continuing Education Credits (CEUs) to those who attend and participate in meetings whereby all CEU requirements have been met.

c. Provide a readily accessible mechanism for regional educational program development.

d. Provide improved access to resources, including but not limited to health, technologies, work and field experience, and educational videos, courses, programs, and certification.

e. Improve the standards and quality of the life of women and their family through education and service.

To maximize our impact on current efforts, we may seek to collaborate with educational and healthcare institutions, colleges and universities, and government, semi-government or government or university recognized units, and other nonprofit organizations which fall under the 501(c)(3) section of the internal revenue code, or similar international organizations that are operated exclusively for health, healthcare, technical, educational, service, and charitable purposes to meet the mission of our foundation.

At times, per the discretion of the board of directors, we may provide internships or volunteer opportunities which will provide opportunities for women’s involvement (directly or indirectly) in said activities and program to have a greater impact for change for the public benefit. 

This foundation may create endowment(s) through philanthropy and donations or accept endowments from other institutions or organizations or government or quasi-government departments or agencies to meet the mission and vision of Dr. Anandibai Joshi Memorial Foundation for Women’s Health and Education. Such endowment(s) would be exclusively used for the purposes stated by this organization.
